Need help in finding the correct silver paint color applied on the covers.

I've heard rallye wheel argent silver is close. I repainted a set a couple of years ago. At first I tried to match what was left, which was difficult. It was easier to repaint it all. My local craft shop, Michaels, carries many shades that you won't find elsewhere that are close. I think it's a matter of opinion. I can't remember exactly which color I ended up using, but there are plenty to choose from. Also, plasticote makes small cans(less expensive to experiment with) called "odds and ends" that come in various silver shades. I think WallMart carries them. Before you decide if the color is right, look at it in the sun, silver is tricky. Hope that helps. Good luck...

Don,

If your looking for something in a rattle can Krylon has one they call either flat or satin silver. I don't recall the part number.

The Krylon color I mentioned the other day was not correct. It is dull aluminum and I think the product number is 1403.
