    C2 Taillights

    The taillights on my 67 have minor pitting and I would like to replace them but when checking on Ebay I find that there is no consistency as to inner, outer or even part numbers. Any help on how to identify each taillight (left outer, right inner, etc) would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Rick

    All four assemblies have unique finished part numbers (which don't show up anywhere on the part), and each has a unique casting number for the housing (cast into the outside of the housing, not visible when installed in the body). Don't have the casting numbers written down anywhere from when I replaced mine; Trim Parts makes them all, regardless of where you buy them.

      If you really care about pn I can get these for you. For example left hand inboard tail light is pn 910557 with casting #5954231. The correct position for each light is also on back of tail light on the outside rim. I believe you just want to purchase some, however if you want pn I can get these.

        Alan, You have already given me 1/4 of what I am looking for, could you be so kind to give me the other three?
        Regards,
        Rick

          pn casting # location
          910554 5954228 RH Outboard the first 5 is hard to read due to casting
          910553 5954221 LH Outboard around mounting stud, almost looks like 1
          910558 5954232 RH Inboard and not a 5, however that makes no sense
          910557 5954231 LH Inboard

          These are all from NOS items still in box and not from my car. The casting # are behind the gasket along with the following;

          GUIDE 1? (not sure if another digit is here) then comes mounting stud, followed by SAE STBD 63 then in smaller letters MADE IN U.S.A. then next mounting stud followed by casting number.
