    chambered exhaust

I have 1970 coupe 350-300hp and the stock exhaust sounds like my moms Buick. I have seen the chambered under the car systems from Ecklers and Corvette Central that claim that they soond like the mid-year side pipe cars. Has anyone tried one of these systems. How does it sound and fit. Thanks

    Re: chambered exhaust

Rick, This subject has been discussed several time in the recent past. If you do a search in the archives on the subject, you should find many answers. Back in my youth, there was a chambered aftermarket exhaust system offered by a name brand company for the early Mustangs. It sounded very nice. Also offered less restriction. If memory serves me it was a Walker exhaust system. They may have also been available thru Ford Motor as the GT edition option. As a former Ford employee and former '65 Mustang owner, it was fairly good sounding.
