    C1 Chroming Question

I will be taking my '56 taillight housings to the chromer next week and would like a ballpark dollar figure for this type of work. They are not broken or chipped but have a lot of pitting. I have never used these folks before but have seen their work and it is beautiful, although, a friend told me that they are rather expensive. I would greatly appreciate info from anyone with a ballpark number. Thanks.

Just make sure they have the capability to properly chrome in the concave portion of the taillight. Ask to see samples of some work they've done on a similar part. I made the mistake of not asking and the result was very bad. I had to take mine to another shop with the knowledge to do it properly.

Not yet, but I'm going to send a couple pieces this winter, just to test their ability. Saw their ad in driveline and checked there website. That's all I know for now.
