    Cal-----

The fuel injectors used for 1990 Corvettes were Delco Multec injectors. Most 1988 and older L-98s used Bosch or Lucas injectors. I'm sure that Bosch probably makes an injector for your application, but just how much less expensive they would be than the GM parts, assuming that you buy the GM parts at a competitive price, is an open question.

The GM injectors for your application are currently known as GM #17112285 or Delco #217-292. From GM, the GM list price (not necessarily the same as your GM dealer's "GM list price") is currently $151.73. However, you should be able to purchase these injectors through Delco dealers for about $80-90 each. I sort of doubt that Bosch or any other quality aftermarket injector would be much less than this.

Injectors are expensive, especially if you need a full set. There's just no way around that. However, I'd first make sure that your injectors really need to be replaced or whether a cleaning is all that's required. Injectors can be checked by using relatively simple electrical test procedures. These are described in your 1990 factory service manual. If they test out as being bad, then there's really no choice but replacement. I would not recommend the use of "rebuilt" injectors.

        Cal,
I recently replaced the original injectors on my 89. From my experience I would not use anything but original replacements. It may be more money but it IS worth it.
