    Somebody keeps eating my cookie!

I think it's Norton Systemworks 2005. It seems that everytime I do it goes through a one bottom check, I lose my cookie to get on the forum. Any program experts out there to put Norton on a diet.

Or you can dump Norton all together and get "Trend Micro" security system.
Bought my new Dell with Norton on it, and every time it updated I lost my e-mail and internet access. (It started with the cookies!) Fortunately they only updated every 3 weeks.

Got Trend Micro and did a full scan and turned up one virus and one trojan that had been operating in Norton for 2 months. Trend Micro updates at least once a day and somtimes 3-4 times a day and is totaly non-invasive.

I believe the hackers are going after the more popular anti-virus programs like Norton. They know the site address for updates and won't let you get to the real address. I finally got rid of Nortan and most of my problems went away.
These guys really need to find a better way to spend there time or better yet, spend it in prison.

I didn't actually mean they virus was running IN Norton, but that it was able to run the whole time I had Norton and it failed detect it.

But, you do pose an interesting thought....
I've alway thought that it was the "anti virus" people that perpetuated the viruses anyway, who better! Self perpetuating sales.
