Are all 65 expansion tanks alike?

Does anyone know if the expansion tanks that Paragon & LI Corvette sell are the same ones that dewitts sells?

Yup, they're all made by DeWitt's - Tom is the only manufacturer.

I dropped it off at a radiator shop today to have them weld it back on. Hopefully that will work out. I would love to keep the original part.

If yours is the original tank, I would not put too much faith in repairing the nipple. Aluminum that is 39 years old has been exposed to a lot of corrosion. They become very brittle and heavily oxidized. It is had to clean the aluminum enough to get a good weld. I have tried heliarcing old radiators and tanks with very little success.
