    Wire loom?

How do you change the wire loom on the temp sensor? One side has the black connector, the other goes into the wiring harness.

If you are talking about the black overbraid on the wire you just need to remove the black plastic connector... To do this use a very small screwdriver (a jewelers screwdriver works well) and insert it between the plastic and the brass piece. Thewre is a small rectangular opening 3/32 inch wide on one side of the black connector opposite the wire end that you insert the screwdriver into. Inside this area is a small tab on the brass piece that you press down which allows the brass to pull out of the plastic from the wire end. Do not force this apart... it may take a couple of tries to get the tab down. After removing the plastic, remove the old overbraid and install the new overbraid... bend the tab up slightly and push the plastic piece back on. The tab will catch and the plastic will not come off.
