it has been mentioned that the braided wires used with ti , radio on my vehicle are of poor design and put a lot of the spark to ground . i just thought i would ask what peoples thoughts were onm the subject . Should i just be running an excellent set of new tech heavy mill and use braided for the show?

Re: 69 braided spark plug wires
Using two sets would be the best of the two worlds. Your car will run a lot better with a good set of 8MM wires such as MSD's helicore wires. It would probably help a litte more to upgrade to a hotter coil for street use. I think that you will be pleasantly suprised in the way your car will run. Save the braided and the Delco coil for show purposes.Dick Whittington- Top

I agree with Dick....
the factory original plug wires weren't all that good to start with and today's dated reproductions haven't improved significantly. Here's an 'acid test' to try....
Fire the engine in your garage at night. Open the hood, close the doors and turn off the lights. If you see random arcing under the hood, you'll know where some of your spark is going in an inconsistent manner!- Top
