New (New Graphic) any suggestions?

Just got a note from a member of a club that had printed a flyer with the "Bowtie" with a message inside. They were told they could not do that. Any suggestions for a tiny graphic we can use?

I would suggest a single finger salute icon to those who get upset about using the Bowtie symbol, but I suppose that there are some who believe that a rule is always a rule.


Perhaps we should stay away from any particular graphic that is a GM trademark, or any generic symbol that might be identified with one generation of car over another. Unfortunately, I don't think that political correctness died with the 1990's.


Can the NCRS logo be adapted?

Thanks again for your continuing work. I know I first suggested it, but I think the crossed flags look good (even if no one else thinks so).


Also, I haven't experimented but how do you get your font to be so large? Are your messages really coming from Above? Maybe it's just that I'm just hearing loud voices in my head again. I hate that when it happens. :-) TBarr #24014

By the way, John is a grandfather now. So he joins the old " " club now with some of us. i thought in a talking with Vinne that NCRS has the approval from GM to use the logos? (By the way , John has two more grandkids on the way).

Thanks for bringing this up. I did get information that NCRS has approval to use the logo, so I went back to the bowtie.


Grandpa is expecting triplets in April. I hope that doesn't make me three times as old.


My first granddaughter was born November 28th. The technological changes that she will see in her lifetime make it a high probability that she will see New Years Day in 2100. I can not even imagine the things that she will see.


My Grandmother was born in the 1880's. She saw the invention of the automobile, the airplane, many medical advances. She lived to see men walk on the moon. She never believed that they had actually done that. She was sure that it was just another TV trick.
