    C3 69 a/c vac pods

i took apart all my a/c ducts and actuators today as i needed a new heater core. so i used my hand vac pump to test all the vac pod actuators. both of the single hose ones would hold vac but both of the 2 way pods leaked one way and not the other, so i have searched all the repo catalogs and cant find them. anyone know who makes the dual diaphram pods? i also need the seal rubber piece that goes around the heater core in/outlets and a repair kit for the outside air door on the passanger kick panel. i have rebuilt several of my camaro ones. that kit comes with new revits and the rubber sheet. Zip shows a kit with a new door/rod/something for $29? i think the camaro kit for $5 is the same.
    regards dick

Dick, I would check Dr. Rebuild for all those items. I haven't looked for the actuators, but I'm pretty sure he has the other parts.

Unless Dr. Rebuild has changed the door rebuild kit, you will find that the provided rivets (all the same length) are correct for riveting the rubber between the two sheet metal panels, but are too short to rivet on the zinc plated hardware. I found some longer tubular rivits at Home Depot. You may have to go with brass instead of zinc plated...painting them silver is your option.

im not sure what having the a/c selniod has to do with my question, but yes i have the bracket and clamp and selinoid for the a/c idle speed up. im just looking for a vendor that sells the dual diaphram acctuator.
        thanks dick

          Sir,

That solenoid, bracket & strap are somewhat more difficult to locate. I was merely interested in a jpeg of one as mine is Long Gone, the Vietnamese nephew of Bin Lookin.
