Part numbers resolvement wanted

Hi all,

Coudl someone identify fly-wheel 3789733 (A126) and bellhouse 3815891 (E237) and are these suitable for a '59 Vette since these items can't be identified by number only on shape ?

I can find no record of those numbers as either part numbers or casting numbers. That isn't to say that they didn't exist, assuming that you have them both correct (casting numbers are often VERY difficult to discern and differentiate between certain numerals).

In any event, the 3815891 was never used on any Corvette. I don't know what its application is, but I know that it's not a Corvette bellhousing used for either C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, or C-6 Corvettes. Also, the 3789733 is not a Corvette flywheel casting number that I'm familiar with. Most, if not all, 56-62 Corvettes originally used a flywheel with casting number 3729004.

Now, whether the parts you mentioned would be FUNCTIONAL for a 59 Corvette application, I could not tell you.
