I have a 6 volt Delco Battery. It is New Old Stock with no acid ever being added. It is an original Delco battery I believe Group 1. It is molded into the case "Model 412". I have been led to believe that it is for 1953-1954 Corvette. Is this correct? The battery has 3 yellow filler caps. It is an old tar top battery that is in remarkable condition. Delco is molded on the end of the case in a round design. Delco is painted yellow on the side of the case onto rasied "DELCO" letters. I can email someone a digital photo if this helps.
I am a member of the VCCA = Vintage Chevrolet Club of America. I am looking to sell this battery to someone who can use it and place it into the correct car for judging purposes. If it isn't correct for 1953-1954 Corvettes any idea as to what it is original equipment for?
Thanks
