With regard to duplicating factory coverage, should the hood hinges appear purposely painted black, or should they just have overspray as a result of being installed when the hood was painted?

The hood hinges were painted nearly completely black with some signs of primer and/or body color peeking out in a few spots. Many original cars show the primer and body color in areas that were missed by blackout but you would be ok with complete black coverage.
