I don't know why I can't get this, so I'll ask. My 69 has a build date of F31 with a S/N of 148XX. Was it built Jan 31 of 69 or 70? How long was the strike at GM back then anyways? Thanks.

#14695 was the last unit in Jan. of `69. Your body was produced on the last day of Jan `69.

If you had a 1969 that was built in 1970, then you'd definitely have a one-of-a-kind. Besides everything else, it's against federal law to designate as a certain model year a car manufactured after December 31 of that model year. So, I think that it's safe to say that GM never, ever did this.

Thanks guys. I always thought that Jan 31/69 was the build date but for some reason I started to second guess myself...mostly due to the "extended" model year because of the GM strike. Thanks for setting me straight.
