door number (E57S104193) I knw about the E,57,and S but as to (104193)
are these numbers what is used to determine build date can't use engine for this purpose thats another issue thanks in advance Paul
vin 3441 rolled of line 4/26/57(judging manual source) . vin 4331 left the line last day of may, 1957. by extrapolting, you can guess at approximate day your vin 4193 left st. louis. good luck, mike
My car 2899 had a ink stamp pad date of Mar 6 and Mar 8th on the trunk lid and deck lid. The stamped dates were on the lid where the hinges bolted on to the bare fiberglass. I assume that they were stamped when the pieces were made and the car had to be assembled at a later date .
