Hi All, I have finally changed my old core support. Now that I have everything lined up the headlight motor support arms don't want to fit. Is there a trick to this? Or should I loosen up the core support and try to line them up first?
Thanks!
As a general rule, you don't want to tighten up any of the fastners of a related system until all the fastners have been first installed loosely. If you were working on a Swiss watch, the space shuttle or, possibly, something like a Rolls-Royce, you might not have to do this. However, when you're working on an older Corvette, it's a good idea. It can save a lot of frustration.
