1985 Speakers

When the fabulous Radio Shack computer program recommended a 12" diamter something-or-other as first choice and a 10" something-else as replacements for my 4" front door speakers, I knew it was time to go elsewhere. Surely someone out there has had to replace these - where and who??

Loren I have read that you can send your Bose speakers and amps to Bose and they will repair/replace them for a reasonable price. I plan to check them out very soon for my 85.

I just had mine done by an outfit in Texas, haven't got them installed yet, but reasonable turnaround, and they do a lot of them. Do a search for "Bose Speaker Repair" on the internet and you will find several outfits that specialize in the repairs.
