speed pro #AT840R are edge orifice lifters

but i understand they no longer have them since the number of manufactures has been reduced the types of lifters have also been reduced.

Yes, you'll only find the GM #5232550 lifters listed in P&A Catalogs with publishment dates of 1967 through 1969. Earlier dated catalogs will show the 2 lifters that I mentioned and later catalogs will show the later lifters.

I agree with Clem; the Federal Mogul AT 840R are the only edge orifice lifters that I know of on the market. And, as Clem says, I don't think that you can get them anymore.
