    C1 Paint

Looking for Canadian or USA source for Acrylic lacquer paint (Roman Red). Need enough to paint entire car or smaller batch to repair decklid and stress cracks. Dupont Rep. claims it was recalled from the shelves about a year ago. Car presently has 25yr old lacquer paint in very nice condition. Any suggestions on an alternative paint process that will look like lacquer would also be appreciated. Peter

    Peter,
PPG still sells lacquer, and I bought a couple of gallons of Roman red just last year. If you local PPG jobber does not keep lacquer toners, Then you can buy online at: http://www.autocolorlibrary.com/scri...gm=aclgate.bbx

I have never used these guys since the local PPG shop still will mix lacquer, but I have heard good things about them.

    Regards, John McGraw
