    C2 Rear Bumper Support

Putting the bumpers back on my 66 as part of body off. Left rear outer brace that connects between the frame and inside of body has a gap of 3/8 to 1/2 in. at the fiberglass body inside fit. Can anybody recommend a type of shims here? Since I'd like to keep as much contact area as possible, I was thinking of the square body shims. Round flat washers may not give me enough contact area.

Assembly manual doesn't show shims here but I can't believe that the factory never had a case where shimming wasn't required.

    Regards,
    Dave Kitch

Use the body shims or front A arm shims. Thick one's.
