Is this a 61 Distributor

This distributor came off my 61 corvette. Is it from a 61

1110891 2 or zk30, can't read my writting.

Cal -

The 891 distributor was used in '61 only on the 245hp & 270hp 2x4 engines, and '61 was the last year it was used. If yours is dated 2K30, it was made on October 30, 1962, and appears to be a service replacement.

Correct part number but wrong date. You can order a correct dated tag from the parts suppliers.

The carb data was stamped into the side of the carb.

1. If I got a tag from the manufacturer would I have two diferent dates on the carb.
2. whould the stamp take presidence over the tag.
3.Do I contact rochester for a correct date tag

oops what was I thinking

Disrequard, I got carbs and distributors mixed up, I hope I get them stait when I put my cars back together, may if I combine the parts I will have a distarburator or carbistrator, long night
