69 blower motor plenum color? (non ac)

Near as I can tell, the fiberglass blower motor housing in the engine compartment on my 69 was in place during the blackout procedure...is this correct or should it be bare fiberglass? Thanks

The right front inner rear fender area got a LITTLE blackout. Most motors I have seen have little or no black-out, maybe a little overspray.

The engine compartment blackout operation was performed in the Paint Shop, and the heater assembly wasn't installed until later on the Trim Line; I'd expect any black material found on the heater housing or blower was overspray of black vinyl plastisol sealer material that was occasionally applied to seal the top of the blower housing to the firewall for water leak prevention or repair.

Thanks guys. Bare fiberglass it will be. It made more sence to me, from a production stand point, that the blackout was completed before any components were installed, but it sort of appeared that there was no blackout on the firewall after I removed this housing so I wasn't quite sure, but know I know for sure. Thanks again.

Do you know of anyone that makes a similar or the same black plastisol sealer for around the heater box and other places that it is found. Terry
