I'd be interested in having owners of 1968 cars with KNOWN ORIGINAL rear stabilizer bars check them for diameter. It seems that 1968 used a one-year-only stabilizer bar, GM #3923676. The 63-67 bar, GM #3872451, and the 69-74 bar, GM #3967713, are 9/16" diameter bars. The 75-82 bar, GM #351597, is a 7/16" diamter bar. I am curious about the diameter of the 68-only bar.
