Hello All,
My 66 tele column has a rag joint with 2 rivets connecting the lower housing (shorter housing) to the rag and 2 bolts connecting the upper housing (firewall side) to the rag. This is as described in 1 st ed. Judging Guide.
I been advised guide is incorrect and that tele couplers use rivets on both housings, 4 rivets total.
Do I need a new coupler or Judging Guide??
PS My 66 Assembly manual makes no reference to coupler in section N36
