    1967 Horn Brackets-Any Differences A/C vs non A/C?

On a 1967 Corvette equipped with a 427/390 engine and A/C; are there any differences in the driver's side horn bracket between a car equppied with A/C vs. a car not having A/C?

    Thanks,

believe the drivers side horn will interchange with non-60 but am certain the pass side c-60 equipped horn differs from its non-60 brother. mike

LI Corvette shows a pass side horn bracket for AC only cars 63-67. I think it is the same horn and bracket but it has to be relocated with the additional special bracket or reinforcement. The bracket/reinforcement is a metal plate that rivets behind the fender skirt.
The C60/B2 air section of my 1966 assy manual shows the horn relocated and mounting to this reinforement plate/bracket.

the c-60 pass side horn/bracket differs from the non-c60 horn in that the brackets are spot welded differently to the clam shell horn main bodies.Sam e # on both horns as i recall, just bracketry locations differ. mike

On my 1967 small block with AC, the driver's side horn is the same part as the non-AC part, but the mounting bracket has a Z-bend to help it clear the AC condenser. I have been told that this modification was performed manually at the factory, and that it is described in the AIM, but I have never been able to find it in the AIM.

joe: the bracket on my 67 400 c-60 appears to have been bent on a brake, not by hand( al least my hands couldn't bend the bracket the way it was done on my vette.) mike
