Yes -- this one's a no-brainer, count the ways
1. He's opened the eBay account today (ie. no previous feedback) This guy isn't even going to the effort of stealing an existing member's acct. in good standing.
2. He's reported as a member in France; the car is located in Stirling, England (does such a town exist ?)
3. It's only a 3-day auction; adds to urgency to buy it NOW.
4. Have to email him to be allowed to bid -- the Western Union deposit pitch will thus begin.
5. Ridiculously low price for such an item- Top

Believe this is the same one listed a week ago, but you had to e-mail him to see where it was located. Ebay pulled it the next day.- Top

Appeal of "something for nothing"
I think there will always be people who allow their greed to overwhelm their common sense. Con men have been making money off this human trait forever. Blaming eBay is silly. What can eBay do about it? They try to eliminate these auctions as fast as they pop up.
I'd love to hear from someone who actually sent money overseas to "buy" a nice Corvette for a tiny fraction of its current value. They remind me of those idiots who wire money to "process" Canadian lottery winnings when they've never even bought a lottery ticket. Are they really surprised it was a scam? It's hard for me to believe there are literate Americans who are so foolish.- Top

Re: Appeal of "something for nothing"
Well, the "rare" heated leather seats must have burned it up. Ebay has pulled the auction. What a shame. Such a real bargain. And just in time for Christmas!
Merry Christmas to allDick Whittington- Top
