66 Small Block Front Springs

Does anyone know if GM p/n 3888251 front coil springs were used in small block cars with Air Conditioning. My assembly manual only lists these for big block cars. Did SB cars use any other coils than the one standard spring listed (other than the F40 option)? Thanks

Limited use; C60 only -- '66 L36 & '67 L36 & L68

My books show '65 thru '67 small blocks used 3851100, whether or not the car had air conditioning. There may have been a separate spring, though, for '63/64 w/C60.

I agree with Wayne. 3888251 was used in late 66 L36 big block with A/C (C60)and 1967 L36 and L68 big block with A/C configurations only. Not used for small block C60 applications.
