on 68-72 cars can you just bleed the inboard bleeder valve? I know this is alot to ask about brakes today. I checked the archives and could not find this?

If you are refering to the rear calipers, the answer is "no", or at least not if you want to get all the air out. Not only do you need to bleed both bleeders, but bleed both calipers on the rear, even if only one has been worked on. You may also find it useful to tap on the calipers a bit with a plastic hammer as you are bleeding to dislodge any air bubbles that may become trapped in the cracks and crevices. Home mechanic pressure bleeders are now available for around $60 that make bleeding brakes almost a pleasure.- Top
