70 convert top glue

To cold to drive in the east, Good time for the top R&R.

Aim says neoprene adhesive for bonding the top to the frame. 3m makes a spray (#80 I think). Or is good old contact cement the stick of choice.

The top is not really bonded to the frame as such. There may be a little at the side flaps and the front bow, but nowhere else. 3M yellow 80001 in the tube is the best.

Dennis I like to put tops on in the sunshine at 80 degrees. The material fits better when it is warm. Have your garage hot and the top material. Just my 2 cents Lyle

Figured I'd have to heat up the top to get rig of some wrinkles. Been folded up awhile. Luckily I have heat in the garage(And AC). My wife thinks I'm crazy, but that's always a requirement when I buy a house.
