Although I posted this same question some time back, and appreciate the reply, I am reposting it. The small, covettte black book and the Noland Adams book both list the "HP" suffix for a '66 small block as 350HP with N40. I've been told that "HT" would be correct for 350HP, manual transmission. Since I'm looking for a '66 350HP, manual with factory installed power steering I wanted to check one more time to make sure the correct code is "HT", whether N40 was installed or not. I thought it strange that the same error be made in two different books. (I see in the '67 judging manual that "HT" is correct, but I don't have the '66 judging manual to refer to).

Re: '66 ENGINE SUFFIX "HP"
I think the HP indicates L79 with C60 (air conditioning) and N40 (power steering). Differnt bunch of belts and pulleys than just L79.
Yep that's what it says in my old second edition (Fall 1993) 1966 Judging Manual shows this as does Colvin's book.
