can you still buy the 15x8 steel rally wheel from GM?

Yes, you can. The 69-82 wheel is still available under GM #327708. The problem is that they GM list for $186.94/each. You can purchase the same wheel (usually minus the small "GM" stamping on the wheel center section) from Hayes wheel dealers under Hayes #81982 and, likely, for a whole lot less.

Joe what do you know about the repoduction wheels? I have seen some that say import/then some from USA.

I really don't know very much about the reproduction wheels. I think that the USA-manufactured variety are the Hayes Wheels that I described.

If you look around at most car shows, there is someone who is selling new ones. I got two at the Valperaso, In show for around $50. that were new.
