      Bruce----

I've got it about the same as clem; the 1112039 was used for 1971 Chevelles, Camaros, and Novas with 200 hp 307 with automatic transmission. It's possible that it was used for some other applications, too.

Thanks Joe and Clem. I thought it might have been from a Poncho, but I was wrong. Does it seem unusual for TI to be used on this model? Would the pieces in the distributor, ( pole piece, mag pick-up) be interchangeable with the Vette stuff?

it may be a conversion because you could buy the internal pieces and change over a point distributor to TI because i have done that. that number is a point distributor because in the specs they give the points gap.

            Bruce-----

This distributor was not originally built as a TI. It was an aluminum housing, single point type distributor. If it has TI, then it's definitely a conversion. The parts used, if they're Delco parts, should work with a Corvette cast iron distributor housing. However, the main shaft will not have a tach drive gear.
