I am in the process of installing a radiator, fan shroud with A/C extension, and engine fan on my 67 427 air car and having difficulty getting the shroud in with the radiator already in place. Would appreciate any help as to what is the sequence and tricks for installing these three items. Thanks for your help.

I have a 66 small block with air so don't know how much is applicapable.
I could not get the shroud out of the car with radiator in. Old shroud did not have AC extension either. Shroud interferred with the driver side A arm , no matter how much I tilted, pulled and pryed. I finally removed rad and shroud as a pair. Same with reinstall, with a friend on the other side of the car the shroud and radiator went in together. No need to looosen radiator support etc.
I recall I installed AC extension after installation.
It isn't any easier with a small block if that's any consolation

The radiator and shroud have to be installed together. I assume that you did not remove the radiator without the shroud. While holding both pieces together, it is quite a trick to angle the radiator and shroud into the correct position in the engine compartment. You defintely need a helper to do this.Comment
