On replacing a waterpump, I found that the double H2O pump pulley on my '69 350/350 coupe is bent/torqued. Looks like I could probably straighen it, but I'd rather get a true used/new one. Is PN# 3848904 CS a special use pulley? Looks like a deep groove, and also mounts in conjunction with an AIR pump pulley (3rd belt) that bolts over the top of the mounting the cup.

GM #3848904 was the original pulley used for your application. It was discontinued in September, 1972 and replaced by GM #3995641 which remains available from GM for a current list price of $61.18.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -

My recollection is that the configuration of the "hat" section is different. I think that the earlier pulley is more of a "cone-shaped" and the later is more "stepped". I'm not 100% sure, though.In Appreciation of John HinckleyComment
