Re: Whats an Air car speaker?

Just wondering, what does an AIR car have to do with speakers?

The vents are right under the speaker-Hence is it's a lot smaller depth wise.

If you compare the air speaker and the regular speaker laying flat on a table, the air speaker is visbily shorter. It is probably 1/2 to 3/4 inch (haven't measured it).

The air speaker also has two additional holes in the speaker frame, for unknown reasons. On the side, in the center support is a small hole.

The magnets on some are also 90 degrees from the mounting on regular speakers. Not sure if this is true on all.

          Thanks Mike,

The magnet is 90 degrees from a non-air car. I was able to measure and it's about 3/4" less in depth.

SO, it looks to be what i thought it was.
