    C-1 1959 block and heads

Looking for a late October/early November 1958 Flint 519 block and 550 heads. Any ideas who might have one? Thanks in advance

I'm not sure you're going to find any '550 heads dated that early (Oct/Nov '58).... You WILL find '770 heads with staggered mount for valve covers in that time period, though. For sources, try the ususal places:

    (1) Driveline
    (2) eBay
    (3) Paragon Vintage
    (4) JT Pipers
    (5) Tracey Performance
    (6) Crane's
    (7) Try a Google search
    (8) Don't forget asking your local machine shop(s) as that'll be your best deal

      Jerry,
You might want to try Engines Limited in Wisconsin. About two hours north from the state line. His name is Tom and I know of people who have worked with him. Pretty good guy. He advertises in Hemmings. There is another guy up there in the same area named Randy whom I also have spoken with for various engine parts. He also advertises in Hemmings and I think the two businesses have similar names, so make sure you know who you are talking with. Good luck.

Engines Limited is in Omro, WI. His name is Randy and their website is http://engineslimited.com/ He has some pretty good information on his web site regarding correct blocks and heads for early Corvette/Chevrolet engines, and probably a good source for what you are looking for. - Kevin
