I have been trying to verify the production date of my 64. The code is F12 and the serial number goes like this -----S120460. I think this means it was an A.O. Smith body assembled in St Louis. The engine casting date code is F154 and the Engine stamping is F0617RD. I think this means it was built in June but I am not sure of that or a date. Any help appreciated. rcirilli@nauticom.net

Re: Production Date
F12( AO Smith)- June 12th Build date (St. Louis)- Feb. 15th build date (need more info off your trim tag.) If the numbers on your trim tag are single spaced it's a St. Louis car. If the numbers are double spaced it's an A.O. Smith body.
Look closer at the block casting number!
Eng. Stamp-F 0617RD-Eng. Assembly date June 17th
RD code- 300HP AFB 4bl. Carb, Manual Trans.
Somethings wrong if your engine assembly at Flint is 5 days AFTER the cars' build date. Sure you read it right?
