Could some pleas decipher the following caricatures found on the bottom of a late 1963 windshield washer reservoir? Is there anyone that makes the correct replacement.

    Ther are: Number 2

    Two triangles with tow dots

    The letter A

      Hi Ray -

When I was restoring my late '63 many years ago, the original reservoir was yellow, melted, and cracked. So it was destined to get replaced. But I still have it. I checked it for markings, and it has the identical markings to yours.

The replacement for it was purchased in the mid-1970's. The markings on that one are two dots, C, 4.

NO IDEA what all this means. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

        Ray,

Yes, I know what that means as I worked for a plastic manufacturing facility while in school.

Those are the numbers for the casting machine, mold and position. If something is wrong the workers can check the code and get to the machine before it screws up any more pieces. The machine has four molds making four at one time. It just like the cast iron pieces on Corvettes. Ones such as the thermostat housing.

        Regards,

        JR
