    C3: 71 Q-Jet Part Number

    Does anyone have the correct original part number for 71 base engine Q-Jet carburetor? The 1974 printing of the parts book calls for a 7047120 but the car came with a box of parts which included a 7041212 that was thought to be original. Trying to help a neighbor but I'm not much help with 68 and newer. Thanks

              Clem I think it's just the opposite....the 1212 is auto / 1213 is std

                  I would confirm 7041212 is for automatic, according to the JG/TIM, and my low mile '71.
