Anyone seen the repop windshield stainless from CC

I dug my windshield stainless out for an inspection the other day and I noticed the upper outside center piece was a little more dinged up than I remember. There are a couple of nasty looking dents where the top lays and this area has a doubled back flange that makes dent removal pretty difficult.

Corvette Central has a repop for $155. Anyone seen it and how does it stack up to the original?

Buying a used piece sight unseen just might get me another one like I have, but I haven't ruled this option out yet.

I have bought alot of items from Corvette Central & found then really good to deal with. I would order the part & see it upclose & personal,if you don't mind paying the shipping you can just send it back if it isn't satisfactory.Just a thought.

i believe the c-2 windshield SS comes from corv spec of Md (off the boat from china) and their repops are usually right on. however, i haven't tried one yet. legs mccagh
