Those P4000's changed my life...
Took Duke's advice on the P4000's this past summer - also installed a pair of Delco Reactek's at the same time. Before the tire swap I figured a '66 BB coupe was always going to wallow/dive in the corners due to the added iron in the front - the yaw into and out of sweepers was terrifying especially when getting on or off the throttle - almost kissed the gaurd rail a couple times. Then I S-canned the S rated tires and slipped on the Pirelli's. Drives like a new car now. Yeeowwweeee.- Top

Did you have any problems mounting or balancing them? I read some not-so-great comments on one of the tire store's websites about balancing issues that worried me a bit so I haven't purchased them.- Top

I just put P4000's on my 67 with rally wheels and had no balance problems. The tire rack shipped the same day I ordered them and I got them the next day. So far I like them!- Top

No problems here with balancing. I haven't yet ventured too far over 100mph for an extended period though... The Pirelli's are mounted on repro (pinned) KO's. Although they did use clamp-on weights which do ding-up the outer rim... ugh.- Top
