This winter's Corvette project will be the interior of my '66 convertible. On Saturday, I removed the incorrect seatbelts in preparation for the installation of a good used correct set I picked up a couple of years ago.
I believe my old belts are from a '76. The buckles are polished stainless steel with a rectangular "GM MARK OF EXCELLENCE" in the center, and the inboard attachment flange appears to be stainless steel stamped "H 10 D315". The sewn-on label indicates "Hamill Model # 1967 C10 22E76". There is also the notation that the belt meets SAE-J-4C and federal standards.
The D-ring (outboard) belt has a cadmium-plated attachment flange and retractor bracket, a chrome d-ring, and an identical label.
Are these belts correct for a 1976 Corvette, and if so, would it be possible to estimate their value? They are black and in good condition.
As always, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
