    C 1 between seat compartment

    Can anyone tell me if their should be some kind of rubber seal to line around the door ?

    no. ya just adjust the latch catch so that it doen't rattle as you're motoring down the bumpy roads. mike

      Debra...

      There is a very small rubber door stop mounted at the top. It does not do much for the door tightness however. No rubber seal is used around the door. Also two rubber bumpers are used for the deck lid.

          As another poster mentioned, adjust the door so it doesn't rattle. One of my Winter projects is to put some (removable) padding in there so that the contents don't rattle.

            Chris...

            I carry a fire extinguisher wrapped in foam in my G-Box...takes care of any rattles. Also one in the trunk ready to do battle if needed.

              Debra,

              There is a "Glove box door stop" which is a little piece of rubber "c-channel" that is to be glued onto the glove box itself. The door closes against it. CC has them, as I'm sure others do too.
