    Re: Car lot

I'll try. 1959 Plymouth, 1958 Impala, 1959 Impala in foreground. Next, left to right, 1959 Mercury, 1959 Dodge, 1955 Olds, 1959 Ford, 1959 Impala, 1957 Corvette. In the rear, I see a 1930 or 1931 Model A, 1956 Ford, Volkswagen, another 1956 Ford, 1962 Corvair Monza, 1958 Chevy pickup. Neat old dealer photo!

Corvair could be '61 or '63, grille does not seem to match the '62 style Neat picture, what is the date on the handout, flyer or whatever?

Looks like a 1956 Ford pickup behind the Model A if that is a Model A. It may be an old Chevrolet. It appears to have a flatter grille shell than a Model A and maybe doors in the side of the hood instead of louvers. I can't see if it has solid wheels or spokes.

Wayne, close but no cigar. The '57 Dodge is a '60 Plymouth. Both ugly as sin, but the fins and trim on them lead me to believe it is a "Mayflower"

Sorry guys, thats not a 1957 DeSota or 1960 Plymouth. 57 DeSota didn't have the hump in their fin and the 60 Ply had gas filler door centered above the rear bumper not on the side of the fin. I think it is a 57 Plymouth Savoy.

Took me an hour to find a picture but it is a 1957 Plymouth, Belvedare I believe. The Savoy, from my memory, although I was only 3 months old in 1957 , was pretty plain jane with no chrome trim on the body to speak of. I should of known what it was because we had Plymouth/Desoto franchise in 1957

My guess is that the "Model A" is actually a '31 Chevy 5-window coupe, a very rare car because most Chevys back then were 3-window coupes. The old stovebolt had a OHV six for power; note the length of the hood.
