Engine numbers

I have a 1954 corvette I was missing some engine numbers at the last message new
Block numbers are#0073260F54Y, If someone could email me back.

Numbers still don't seem "right". The suffix should be F 54 YG, not F 54 Y.

Also, the number suquence, should be more like 0732XXX, NOT 007XXX.

What is the block number, located down near the fuel pump? Should be a "911" block. Also, what is the casting date of the block? That should be located above the starter, and in the format "A 1 4", Jan. 1, 1954, and so on. Chuck

Hi Chuck,

I located the block casting numbers they are#3835911 they seem be the right.
The engine numbers are #0073260F54Y I know a G should be there, is it possible
it was never added very strange things went on around that time.The cylinder
case casting # L is for December and I have a number 4 is that December 1954?
Is there any other numbers I can check to confrim It is a matching numbers car?
