    C2 cluster installation question

I am having a senior moment. I am reinstalling the cluster on my 66 after sending it out for restoration 5 weeks ago. I don't recall if the odometer reset cable passes thru the hole in the dash brace or over it like the tach and speed do. It seems to line up with the hole in the brace. UPC12 C2 isn't very clear.

Also there is a loose capacitor w/mounting bracket in the harness on the park brake ind light circuit. Assume this has to be grounded via the mounting bracket to the cluster to "capacitate" or whatever it is capacitors do. See UPC U69 A5. Would this reduce radio static when the parking brake lamp is flashing? Not a big concern on my part.

It goes thru the hole. If you try to do otherwise the cable will bind and be useless. Not easy to get installed, but doable as I did it a couple of weeks ago!! :-)

All the caps are attached to various screw on the back of the cluster. Just loosen one of the lower ones that it will reach and attach it there.

Hi Guys, The E brake capaciter pinches the lt. brown or tan wire for the E brake warning light. It mounts on the top right screw of the cluster. (remember that is the left side if it is out of the car and upside down. Good luck, Joe
