Where to Buy? Original AC Delco filters?

    Where to Buy? Original AC Delco filters?

    Where does everyone buy their AC Delco filters? Air, oil, crankcase breather, pcv valve that are the closest to original and NCRS standards? I have a '73 LS4 and it has the open air cleaner housing so I think the air filter is a bit rare in it's use.

    The part numbers are:
    Oil Filter-PF25
    Air Filter-A329C
    Crankcase Breather-FB59

      You can't buy original filters but there are repro's available at Paragon, Corvette Central etc.

          The 329C in NOS or used may be difficult to locate but original white non-embossed PF-25 AC filters are out there. Not sure about the FB 59 breather.

              I think that the NCRS Driveline would be a good starting point when looking for parts such as filters. If you do not find any listed insert a want ad for the needed filters.

                  There are good reproductions of the white oil filters available on ebay and also the first design blue filters with the unpainted edge rib at the top show up occasionally. The air filter will bw the most difficult to find, as Dick said.

                      There is a "repro" of the air filter available, but it's a joke. A total waste of $20. It's nothing but a current ACD filter with the "correct" words on the filter in totally the wrong font. Any judge could pick it out as incorrect.

                      Going rate for a good used original one is above $300. Ouch.

                          You can probably find an original oil fileter out there. The question is, do you realy want to put a 30 year old oil filter on your car? A bit of a risk!

                              Well my car doesn't sit in a Museum and I do/or will drive her when the Spring comes so I do need clean fresh new filters that do their job efficently, but of course would like to continue putting on the most accurate parts available today at "resonable" prices.
