C2 Clock

Well it's a snowy Saturday here in upstate NY. Perfect day to pull the nonworking clock out. I went through the 63/64 shop manual but cannot find anything on removal of the clock? Do I need to pull the radio & speaker to access the clock?
Any hints will be appreciated.

no, you can pull the side panels off the center console, and reach around the back to release the two spring clips that hold the closk in place. radio and speaker ar not in the way in general.

Goodmorning, It is snowing in Southern Ontario as well. You will find it easy to remove the clock if you take the glove box and the right console panel out first. The clock has one 2 wire plug and two light plugs and two clips that hold it in. It will then come straight out . Good Luck Bill # 40614

Thanks... It was a lot easier with the glove box out but now I broke the lead for the little light. Must have been ready to break anyway cause it fell right off. Maybe its good it broke with the battery disconnected. I hate fireworks under my dash.
