    '64 Corvette Expansion Tank

If a Corvette had a build date in the middle of June of 1964, what date code should be on the tank, and what should the correct part number be? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thankx, Bob

    Bob----

Part number on the tank should be GM #3155416. The date code should probably be about "64B" but, I'd say that anything from about "64A" to "64E" would be possible

Just to add to Joe's post, the dates on the tank and rad as a general statement are the same. This is not a rule just an observation thru out the mid years.

A mid June build would put your serial number in the area of 19,860. Cars with serial numbers running from 18,697 through 21,866 have rads and surge tanks with 64E date codes.

Harrison did not build these continuously but in batches.
